Till the end of 2008, we have 112 registered bicycle and children's bicycle enterprises, including 40 domestic-funded enterprises, which account for 36%. We have complete industry chain of bicycle from frame to reflector. In 2008, the sales income reached 7.5 billion RMB yuan. 28 enterprises' sales income individually exceeds 50 millions RMB yuan, and 18 enterprises' individually exceeds 100 million RMB yuan. 260 million RMB yuan taxes have been turned over in 2008.2.05 million bicycles and children's bicycles have been exported, reaching 300 million US Dollars of export volume. In 2008, there are 56 bicycle and children's bicycle enterprises with export performance. The export amount of general trade reached 84.17 million US Dollars. The export amount of 40 self-operated export production enterprises reached 52.2 million US Dollars. In addition, 5 enterprises' value of export individually exceeds 10 millions US Dollars, and 30 enterprises' individually exceeds 1 million US Dollars. Series products of mountain bike, folding bike, children's bike, racing bicycle and motorized bicycle have been formed with certain influence in the market. It is one of the most important production bases in the whole nation. The industry of bicycle and children's bicycle has been a distinguishing feature and one of the pillar industries as well as the potential advantageous industry of our city's economy.
